Rural India Beats Urban India in the Uses of Social Media

Use of Social Media  in rural India has become by 100% amid the most recent one year with 25 million user dwelling in that belt, as per a report.

Be that as it may, urban India enlisted a generally lower development of 35% with the aggregate number of clients at 118 million as on April 2015, says the 'Social networking in India 2014' report by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and Indian Market Research Bureau (IMRB) International.



There are 143 million social media  users  in India as on April 2015. The report expressed that the main four metros keep on representing a large portion of the social media users in urban India.

The report said the biggest portion getting to social networking comprises of the school running understudies with 34% took after by young fellows at 27%.

School-going kids constitute 12% of the social networking clients. School going understudies and young fellows still frame the 60% of the online networking clients in urban India.




The report further expressed that 61% of these user access social media  on their cell phone.

"The way that right around 66% of the users are now getting to social networking through their versatile is a promising sign. With the normal increment in versatile activity the quantity of user getting to social media  on portable is just bound to build," the report included.
